Craft mapping initiative
Click a region to filter, or any dot to open the craft. 62 entries across 36 districts, plotted on the six revenue divisions.
Every entry currently on the map. Nothing is ranked — a craft held by one family sits level with a craft employing thousands.
Each entry has a photo slot, keyed to its filename. Drop a folder named photos/ beside this file with images named craft-id.jpg and they appear everywhere automatically — map thumbnails, list and detail. Until then, each slot falls back to its drawn panel.
Entries that name each district, highest first. Click any district to filter the map. Low numbers mark thin documentation at least as often as thin craft.
Fourteen registered handicraft geographical indications. Click a row to open the craft where this volume carries one. Source: Geographical Indications Registry, Chennai, and the published state registration lists.
